I've also been interviewed about creativity, inspiration and afiori by a new local magazine called Yippie. It was great fun. We drove around town to find the Perfect Tree and the journalist and the photographer stuffed me into a tiny tree full of pink blossoms. (And here I was trying to change the afiori image to dark and moody and non-cute.) I'm excited to see how the photos turned out and have to confess it was a tad disturbing for me not to be in control! I warmed up after a while though - which is good because it was chilly outside and I stood there wearing short sleeves because the article is for the June issue.

I have a friend who just realised she is a butterfly whisperer. She was taking a walk and suddenly a butterfly appeared, flew next to her at first and then landed on her hand and sat there the entire walk. Now, my friend may be sweet as nectar but still this seemed pretty extraordinary.

Today was very cloudy so I felt extra drawn to colours and am adding these to my shop...

with these....
Oh - and I woke up to this wonderful article in the local newspaper! It talks about my painterly style and the way I play with depth and hidden things in my photographs. "Inte bara en vacker blomma" = Not just a pretty flower, the title of my exhibition.
