afiori is the business and passion of Maria-Thérèse Andersson.

I live in the beautiful seaside town of Härnösand, Sweden, and work as a photographer, artist and writer. I accept freelance work as a photographer and language consultant (English and Swedish), e.g. as a proofreader, editor and translator. I am also vice president of the Västernorrland district art society and webmaster in the Härnösand art society.

I am mostly self-taught but I have a long formal education as well; a Master's Degree with a major in English Literature and a minor in Swedish, World Literature, Art History and Visual Literacy.

Past work history includes teaching English, Swedish and Creative Writing, mostly at a highschool level. I have also taught Swedish to Immigrants. I have proofread fiction as well as technical texts and worked a bit as a hired photographer.
