A day full of gifts! / En dag full av presenter!

I feel as if the universe, or the people in it, are showering me with gifts this entire week but look at everything that happened in one single day!

I went to see my mum and she greeted me with gorgeous scrapbooking papers. My aunt had baked bread and cookies for me! I got a package from Four angels momma filled with sea glass (we don't have that here) and other little treasures from the Pacific ocean! "If you touch your tongue to one of the pieces," she writes, "you will still be able to taste the salt of the Pacific." I did!! Oh and my mum took me shopping, forced me to try on some new trousers (and yes, I'm an adult and have been for a while) so I got new clothes as well. I also know that a beautiful package from a blog friend is waiting for me at the post office - it got stuck in customs and I'm waiting for a piece of paper, but still - all of those things in one single day! Sometimes I really do feel extra lucky.

(little flowered socks / små blommiga sockor)

Here's a question:
What do you think I should combine the little pink tunic with? I thought I could wear it as a dress since I'm not exactly tall, but it's too short. Leggings, tights, (p.s. - what colour?) white petticoat?
Leggings, strumpbyxor (p.s. - vilken färg?), vit underkjol?

Wonderful photos, dear heart! You have a very good eye and an extremely creative spirit! I love seeing the little seashell in your hand! I know exactly which piece it is, and only a week ago, I was holding it! I love the way that our blogs make the world a smaller place. How else would we have ever met?

What a special day you had. I love that little pink dress/top! So cute. I agree with Becky. I think that some white leggings would look adorable.

And those breads look absolutely delicious! Enjoy all of your wonderful treats! You deserve them.

Big hugs,

oh that sea glass is perfect! how pretty and thoughtful of someone to send that to you. the dress is great perhaps a very short and sheer white frilly skirt to wear underneath.

I have to tell you that I dreamt about you last night-strange, huh? The whole dream was about your journals and the colors of the dream matched your photography style. At the end of the dream, I saw your photo. Since we've never met, I found it curious that you appeared. I'm thinking I must buy a journal now. Perhaps it's the first step to the great American novel or something.

Oh finally! Modesty! I thought I was the only person in the world who might think anything is too short! Maybe floral or lace tights?

Wow, what a terrific day! I would say leggings with the little pink number - someone already suggested white but I would also go a darker pink, almost burgandy.

I would wear black leggings underneath the dress (which suits you very well by the way :-))
Beautiful and inspiring post, thank you, I enjoyed it!!!

Lucky you!

White petticoat or black leggings under that pink tunic or even brown leggings...

A white petticoat would be so summer-like and feminine, I think. I sometimes find sea glass on the beach, and it is lovely :)
Thank you for the thoughtful + lovely comment.

Oh, that paper is so gorgeous! What a nice gift : ). Aren't Mom's the best? I also love your package of sea glass. So pretty.

I think that pink top would look great with black leggings : ).

Your blog is so beautiful!

I think leggings would be super-cute and would be so you! I love sea glass too - my kids found a bunch of it during our trip to the New Jersey shore last year. I need to pull that box out and look at those treasures again!
