My sister's wedding / Min systers bröllop

Last Saturday, August 18, my sister married Johan at a gorgeous manor house outside Umeå. I know I left you hanging there with the first part of my story but alas, I've had so much to do since I came home and haven't finished sorting through all the photos yet...

I think we are all still a bit tired and overwhelmed by it all but it was a wonderful, happy, beautiful wedding! It's also possible that I have a bit of performance anxiety since I want these photos to be the best ever and my sister and her husband are both very good photographers (even though they don't work as such). These are a few of my photos.

...and sang at the ceremony with the help of my wonderful friend and former singing teacher Karin. She also performed a solo song. The one I sang with her was Come What May, my sister's favourite song, from the musical movie Moulin Rouge. It went really well! We didn't have time to practise at all at the location because I was late and then the rain started to pour down so the outdoor ceremony had to be quickly moved indoors, piano and all, before the couple arrived... But everything was alright in the end. Oh, and I got to hold the ring and give it to Johan, with the help of my mum who held it while I was singing!

It was surreal to watch them walk inside, like they were two beautiful dolls!

Louise & Johan Sommar!

I will probably post more photos later when I've sorted through everything... there are lots!

Such beautiful pictures for such a special day!!!! I understand your being nervous, but you did a wonderful job capturing their beautiful wedding! And I love that you did so many things for them, giving a speech, singing, holding the ring...you remind me of our extra-handy do-everything-for-us Best Man, James! Congratulations to Louise and Johan again from us! We are so happy for you all and so proud of YOU!!

Very biggest hugs,

B & V
