I looked at the healthcare website and saw lots of phone numbers, emergency, not-so-bad emergency and non-emergency ones, and I really would have liked to phone the second worst emergency number but I couldn't. All e-mail addresses and forms were for "suggestions" and such.

I really think there ought to be a way to contact healthcare professionals, the police etc directly via the internet and not just by phone. I've written an e-mail about it so hopefully they will listen. It was late at night, early morning and if I had called anyone they wouldn't have known what I wanted. A lot of people turn off their mobile phones at night and I doubt that a text message would wake anyone up. What's it like where you live? Would you know how to get help if you were suddenly unable to speak?
Now I wasn't in a life-threatening situation but very uncomfortable, I have bronchitis and got lots of expensive :( medicine. As soon as I could contact my mum online.
I sometimes can't believe how the internet is ignored and the phone is treated as the primary means of communication. We are here; we should be able to chat to a nurse instead of calling.
Got chocolate in my mailbox :) Fick choklad i brevlådan :)

feel better - yay for chocolate
It's scary that! You should definitely be able to contact emergency services via mail!
Hope the chocolate makes you feel better.
In the US, you can call 911 (emergency number) and if you can't talk, they'll send a policeman to see if you're alright. Of course, it probably won't be at the top of his list.
I admire your ability to blog in both English and Swedish (I assume that's Swedish).
