Putting my computer in the freezer / Nu stoppar jag datorn i frysen

I read the strangest thing about freezing hard disks to make them work again for a short while, enough to copy some files. Did an online search and I found sources like the NY Times and various people who tried it. My computer that crashed contained 53 new poems and 1 new version of my novel which I was just going to burn to a dvd the very night of the crash. I'm feeling kind of stupid doing this but hey - unless a lot of people and the NY Times are joking it just might work. So... I'm putting the computer minus battery out on the balcony tonight, in a plastic bag. Keep your fingers crossed...

Jag läste ett märkligt tips om att frysa kraschade hårddiskar så de fungerar igen en liten stund och man kan kopiera filer. Sökte på internet och hittade källor som NY Times och massor av personer som provat. Min kraschade dator innehåller 53 nya dikter och en ny version av min roman som jag precis skulle säkerhetskopiera samma natt som datorn gick sönder. Känns aningen dumt att göra detta men om inte en massa folk och NY Times ljuger så är det väl värt ett försök... Så nu lägger jag ut datorn minus batteri på balkongen, i en plastpåse. Håll tummarna...
