A magical Mad Tea Party / Ett magiskt tékalas

Welcome, welcome! You are not late at all!
Välkomna, välkomna! Ni är inte sena alls!

It is time for a tea party!
Det är dags för ett tékalas!

It was one of those days when work simply wouldn't work, so when we fell down into a rabbit hole, no one really complained. We found ourselves in the most gorgeous garden...

...with a table full of fika as well!
...där fika stod uppdukat på ett bord!

Tea and scones - oh, coffee for me, please!

There were strange creatures in the trees, magical mirrors and signs that seemed to warn you of something, but what could be bad in this beautiful garden?

We put on our prettiest hats...
Vi tog på oss våra finaste hattar...

Someone seemed to giggle in the bushes when a mysterious person came and served us tea from a camel's mouth. Surely this was perfectly regular tea?

Suddenly, things started to transform...
Plötsligt började saker förvandlas...

A woman turned into a tiny statue
En kvinna blev till en liten staty

Playing cards turned into plants
Spelkort blev till växter

A person who was sitting beside a tree became a miniature tree figure

Dogs turned into flowers
Hundar blev blommor

A norn appeared; she was knitting with the red threads of fate underneath the tree of the world

Surely, the camel spit tea couldn't be dangerous or magic? These things happen anway, right?

Do I dare try it?
Törs jag prova?

What happened next? I won't tell...
Vad som hände sedan? Det får ni inte veta...

♥ ♥ ♥
Thank you for visiting my tea party and thank you Vanessa of A Fanciful Twist for hosting another wonderful blog tea party! Please leave a note; follow my blog or friend me on Facebook if you'd like :)

Your Mad Tea Party was so lovely! But I thought I'd better leave before I started to transform into something else too! How would I ever explain it to Mr. V if that happened? I wouldn't be allowed to go to any more tea parties!!!! :-)

At The Tearoom, I seem to have stumbled on some as-yet unseen artifacts having to do with The Mad Hatter! Won't you please come and visit and take a peek?

Biggest hugs to you on this Maddest of Mad Tea Party Weekends!

Betty

Good day and Mad Tea Party Greetings! Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden and having me to your lovely magical party. I'd like a double shot of Camel Spit Tea. It's my favorite, but has gotten hard to come by lately. I do hope your guests have returned to their normal shapes, except for that delightful little flower dog. Can I order one of those?
