Photos from Sperlonga / Bilder från Sperlonga

I just spent a few days in Sperlonga, Italy, a gorgeous small town with two centres: on top of a hill and the beautiful beach. My hotel was situated right on the beach and there were two (!) balconies in my room overlooking the sea; the waves crashed right into my bedroom. Paradise!

Paradisiskt!

These photos do not lie (and all of them are straight from the camera, unedited) - I was almost alone there!

I wanted to visit a place I'd never been to before, with a beach and a town, not too far from Rome, and this was perfect! When it comes to finding beaches near Rome I also recommend Ostia which is very close, 30 minutes from the city centre with Metro. Sperlonga is about 1.5 hours away by train + taxi (or bus, if it happens to match your timetable).

I have yet to sort through the photos properly. Also spent a couple of days in Rome again. Stay tuned for more!
