I keep missing planes / Jag missar flyget hela tiden

I was on my way to the airport to catch a plane to Paris when I noticed that the plane was going to leave in four minutes. My heart sank. I hurried. Where was my passport? I ran. The plane was going to leave any minute.

I searched for a train. This time I was on my way to Långsele. I thought I was late but I was, in fact, "too early" and had to pay a penalty unless I stepped outside and waited for the next train.

Last night I was on my way to catch a plane once again and I missed the shuttle bus from the airport to the plane. The airplane was very close so I walked but when I got there I was stopped by the airport crew. A man said, in broken English: "You need to take the bus to the plane." "But I'm already here." "You still need to take the bus from over there." "Yes, but I missed the bus and now I'm already here and if I go back I will miss the plane." He was relentless. I woke up, out of breath, but only after a newsreporter appeared and said (this time in a British accent) "A peace treaty has been signed between Russia and Iraq". There were Swedish subtitles. In the air.

Every night I find myself running after a plane or a train, checking the time, my passport, my ticket, being late for a plane - typically to Paris - or a train. That's what I do the few nights when I get a good night's sleep - I run.

Question a) How am I not super fit? and b) How have I not been hired as a translator for a really long time? I even translate in my sleep.

A peace treaty has been signed between Russia and Iraq".

i was so sad because i thought these were real events at first. but it has to be just as stressful to always dream that. I'm catching a plane Wednesday. i'm driving myself to the airport and i'm a bit of a nervous wreck.
ok a lot of a nervous wreck.
I hope i don't have to translate anything. ( :

those sound like tiring dreams and maybe that you need to travel to get it out of your system. :-) all of my dreams take place in a giant mall and the parking structure of a giant mall. sigh.

Sweet friend of mine, it sounds like you are stressed! May tonight find you in your dreams lying calmly by a beach.
